@ zig, they were using ambient occlusion : softens smoke a lot, so you can basically see through it

@phreq lol ok heres the deal we had them casting us last week...he bailed because of meeting and said they wanted to cast us this week. this week, their video guy had a flooded basement and thats where his equipment is. so MAYBE next week. we're still undefeated so good chance of it
